For this reason, we invite parents to attend a combination of open afternoons and consultation evenings throughout the year. We view these meetings as a two-way discussion between teachers and parents which should be both positive and constructive. It is also an opportunity to set targets for the children. Formal annual reports are distributed at the end of the Summer Term with an opportunity for parent consultations.
During the course of the year parents are welcome to make other appointments to see their child’s teacher to discuss progress and pastoral issues. If you are unable to get into school, and have an urgent need to contact us, feel free to write or phone.
Throughout the year parents are invited to school events such as the Christmas Concert, Sports Day, Prize Giving, Open Evenings and various religious services held in the church: e.g. Harvest Festival and Christingle.
Open assemblies/worship are held at various places around the village at least once a term. They are a great opportunity for us all to celebrate the achievements of the children.
